GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1. Reservations and Payments 

  • All tours must be booked in advance through our official website, email, or authorized agents.
  • Payment for the tour must be made in full at the time of final booking. Partial payments are not accepted
  • Online payments incur an additional 5% fee to cover banking charges. This means that the published price will be increased by 5% for online transactions.

2. Cancellations and Changes

  • As payments are final, cancellations or changes are not accepted once the booking is made.
  • Tour Uyuni Bolivia reserves the right to modify or cancel tours due to force majeure events such as adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or political unrest. In such cases, a rescheduling of the tour will be offered if requested at least 72 hours before the scheduled departure. Rescheduling requests made less than 72 hours before departure will not be permitted, and no refunds will be issued.

3. Health and Safety

  • Participants must be in good health and physically capable of taking part in the tours.
  • It is the responsibility of each participant to inform Tour Uyuni Bolivia of any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or special requirements at the time of booking.
  • Tour Uyuni Bolivia reserves the right to deny participation to any person deemed unfit for the tour.
  • This tour takes place in the desert region of the Eduardo Abaroa Reserve, where there are no hospitals or guard assistance. Therefore, it is crucial that clients with health issues inform us of their condition.
  • This tour is typically not suitable for individuals with high blood pressure, severe back problems, disabilities that prevent walking, seeing, or self-sufficiency.
  • We do not have refrigeration for special medications or vehicles adapted for wheelchairs.

4. Insurance

  • We strongly recommend that all participants have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal accidents, and cancellation costs.

5. Responsibility

  • Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and must take care of their items, especially on shared tours with many people.
  • Tour Uyuni Bolivia takes all possible precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of its clients. However, each participant should be aware of the inherent risks and act with caution during the tour.
  • We are not responsible for any delays, changes, or cancellations caused by unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or political unrest.

6. Conduct

  • Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards the local culture, environment, and other travelers.
  • Any participant involved in illegal or inappropriate behavior may be removed from the tour without a refund.
 

Refund Policy

At "Tour Uyuni Bolivia", all payments are final and no refunds are issued. Due to recent financial regulations and challenges in Bolivia, we are unable to process refunds to bank accounts or addresses within or outside of Bolivia. This policy is not a decision of Tour Uyuni Bolivia but rather a result of government measures beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
